Voices of Rejoice is an American Christian contemporary recording act formed in 2021 from Seattle, Washington, U.S. The group is founded by husband and wife duo Mark Anthony and Maya J. Smith under the direction of the gospel label Triumphed Recording Company. As being of one accord, their diverse sound derives from serving as worship leaders and musicians at various Non-Denominational, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches throughout the greater Seattle area.

During the Smith’s tenure as contributors providing vocal and instrumentation to numerous music ministries, they developed a close rapport and great support from many local pastors and their congregation members. The vision of the group came from the practice, study, and presentation of many chart-topping Christian artist recordings within the gospel genre for the purpose of worship services. Having the passion and gift of uplifting others through music and truth has led as the driving inspiration.

The sound recordings of their debut album release ‘Lift Your Hands Up’ has a unique influence that ranges from rock, pop, jazz, and r&b production. The vocal and voice orchestration presents a blend of angelic-soulful lead with a rich harmonic backing. The direction of the worship music overall incorporates a slight shift from Christian contemporary to urban contemporary styles. The compositional arrangements and lyrical creation of each song selection will lead listeners through an edifying, melodic, and Holy Spirit felt experience.

Serving as a traveling ministry, Voices of Rejoice celebrates the goodness of God beyond the walls of the church by reaching out to the community of both the saved and the lost. The commitment through original song material of high praise together with prayer, testimonies, scripture, and the word of life preaching is an engaging revival that the Lord has called upon them.
