Strengthening Our Gifts Through Inspiration of Music
TRCO ACADEMY OF MUSIC AND ARTS WORKSHOP SERIES
We are excited to introduce the new implementation of our music educational workshops which are geared toward our youth and are designed for the shaping of their lives to be impacted with positive choices and alternative pathways for success in society.
The workshops provide both basic and advanced fundamentals in various aspects of the music, arts and entertainment industry. We have constructed a hands-on and curricular system of courses which covers instrument instruction, voice training, audio engineering, recording production, music theory, songwriting, composition, and music business fundamentals.
Our vision includes developing partnerships with local and surrounding area established youth organizations who have after school and summer programs where youth are frequent in attendance. In accordance with the facilities coordinator in agreement to provide a dedicated occupancy of space or room, along with a student enrollment system, we can achieve an effective outcome for the program’s success.
The workshop series mission is to establish a music room for each and as many of these potential facilities where students are able to spend their time productively. Through the inspiration of music we are committed to create a safe haven environment for our youth to have a sense of purpose, meaning and direction.
Instrument Instruction Workshop Course
This course offers students a variety of beginning to advanced instrument instruction. The featured instruments include Piano/Keyboard, Drum/Percussion, Guitar, Bass Guitar and Voice instruction. We will provide the curriculum and apply a productive hands-on teaching approach, which progresses each week for the student’s advancement.
Audio Engineering/Recording Production Course
This course offers professional training of beginning to advanced Audio Engineering and Recording Production. We will instruct the Audio and Production courses as a combined clinic, teaching students how to facilitate a recording session using an industry standard Digital Audio Workstation software program via a laptop computer setup.
Music Business Fundamentals Educational Course
This course will be dedicated to instruct all enrolled students, focusing on the fundamental steps and pertinent knowledge of the music business. We will cover a variety of topics ranging from industry standard legalities, streaming platforms, royalties, music publishing, performance rights organizations, copyrights, artist development, marketing, branding, trademarking and more.
